PRE-FLIGHT BRIEFING.

Everything you need to know before booking your shoot.

Q.01 Are you licensed to fly drones commercially? +

Yes. Every AeroLux Media pilot holds an active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, and every shoot is covered by commercial liability insurance. We handle any required airspace authorization for your location.

Q.02 What areas do you serve? +

We serve all of Long Island, New York, including Nassau and Suffolk counties. If you're just outside the area, reach out anyway. We may still be able to help, potentially with a small travel fee.

Q.03 What happens if it rains or is too windy to fly? +

Safety comes first. If weather conditions aren't safe to fly, we'll reschedule at no extra charge. Most weather delays are rebooked within a day or two.

Q.04 How quickly will I receive my photos or video? +

Most projects are edited and delivered within 24–48 hours of the shoot. Larger commercial or wedding projects may take slightly longer, and we'll always give you a clear timeline upfront.

Q.05 Do I need any permits for my property or event? +

In most cases, no. Some locations (parks, certain venues, areas near airports) require additional authorization. We check airspace restrictions for every job and handle any necessary permissions as part of your booking. Want to know about a specific address before you commit to anything? Send it to us for a free airspace check.

Q.06 Can you match our photographer's style? +

Absolutely. For weddings and events especially, we're happy to coordinate directly with your existing photo/video team so the aerial footage cuts together cleanly with the rest of your coverage.

Q.07 How do I book, and how far ahead should I schedule? +

Fill out the form on our contact page with your details. Real estate shoots can often be booked within a few days; weddings and large events are best booked several weeks ahead to guarantee your date.

Q.08 What forms of payment do you accept? +

We invoice through Square. You get a proper itemised invoice by email and can pay it by card or bank transfer — the kind of receipt an accounts department or an expense report actually wants. We can also take a card in person on a Square terminal. Agents on the Preferred Agent Program get one invoice at the end of the month rather than one per shoot. Nothing is due until you've approved the plan, and no card details are ever entered on this site.

Q.09 Do I get revisions if something isn't quite right? +

Yes. One round of adjustments is included with every project. Recrops, color tweaks, swapping a frame for one you prefer: tell us what you'd change and we'll turn it around quickly. If a change means reshooting or a materially different edit we'll quote it first, so there's never a surprise on your invoice. Full terms here.

Q.10 How long can I re-download my photos and video? +

Your download link stays live for 90 days. After that it may expire — but we keep our own archive, so if you come back a year later needing that twilight shot for a new listing, just ask and we'll re-send it. We'd rather dig it out than have you pay to reshoot.

Q.11 Who owns the photos — and will you post my house online? +

We keep the copyright, and you get a broad, permanent license to use everything to market the property, project or event it was shot for: MLS, portals, social, print, paid ads. On showing the work ourselves: listings and commercial projects are already public marketing so we may include them, but for an occupied private home, a wedding or a private event we ask you first, every time. Either way you can change your mind and we'll take it down. Full terms here.
